Digital Services Act information
How to reach us, how to report illegal content in Pumpkin Fit, and how we moderate, as required by the EU Digital Services Act.
01Who we are
Pumpkin Fit is provided by Void Meadow LLC, Oregon, USA. Pumpkin Fit lets people who turn on Social share posts, stories, comments and messages, which makes it an online platform under the EU Digital Services Act (DSA). We are a micro-enterprise.
02Point of contact
Our single point of contact for EU member state authorities, the European Commission and the European Board for Digital Services (Article 11), and for people who use Pumpkin Fit (Article 12), is legal@pumpkin.fit.
You can write to us in English, German, French, Spanish, Italian or Portuguese.
03Reporting illegal content
Anyone can report content in Pumpkin Fit they believe is illegal. In the app, use Report in the ⋯ menu of the post, story, comment, message or profile. You can also email legal@pumpkin.fit with the subject “Illegal content report”. Please include why you believe it’s illegal, where exactly it is (the person’s @handle and which post, story, comment or message), your name and email address, and a statement that the information in your report is accurate and complete to the best of your knowledge. You don’t need to give your name if the report concerns child sexual abuse material.
We confirm receipt, review every report promptly and diligently, and tell you what we decided and how you can challenge it. If we have information about a threat to someone’s life or safety, we inform the relevant authorities.
You can also block any account from its profile, which hides its content from you and stops it from following or messaging you.
04How we moderate
Our rules are in the Community rules section of the Pumpkin Fit Terms of Service (https://voidmeadow.com/pumpkin-fit-terms). Content is reviewed by people, not automated tools. If something breaks our rules or the law, we may remove it, limit who can see it, or suspend or close the account.
When we take action against your content or account, we email you a statement of reasons: what we did, why, which rule or law it’s based on, and how to appeal.
05Appeals and disputes
You can appeal any moderation decision, or our decision not to act on your report, for six months by replying to our email or writing to legal@pumpkin.fit. A person who wasn’t involved in the first decision reviews it, and we let you know the outcome without undue delay.
You can also turn to a certified out-of-court dispute settlement body under Article 21 DSA, or to the courts.
06Repeated misuse
We may suspend accounts that frequently post clearly illegal content, and stop handling reports from people who frequently send clearly unfounded ones, after a warning.
07Advertising and recommendations
Pumpkin Fit shows no advertising. Your feed shows posts from you and the people you follow, newest first. Suggested accounts are simply the people who most recently turned on Social; they aren’t based on your activity or any profile of you.
08Number of users
The average monthly number of active recipients of Pumpkin Fit in the EU is well below 45 million. We update this figure every six months.
